Owner, Lead Physiotherapist

Vinita Sood

Vinita has 30 years experience in the assessment and treatment of back, neck and joint problems including arthritis and injuries as well as the management of pre and post-operative orthopaedic patients.

I became a Physiotherapist as I felt that a career spent in helping people by easing their pain and increasing movement would be both rewarding and challenging. Over the years I have derived great satisfaction from seeing patients benefit from my treatment and regain improved mobility, function and quality of life.

Vinita can offer you the following treatments

Exercise Therapy

A customised set of clinical and self-administered physical activities designed and prescribed for specific therapeutic goals and faster recovery from injury.

Neurodynamics

The evaluation and treatment of the dynamic nervous system involving conservative decompression of nerves, various neural mobilising techniques and patient education.

Joint Mobilisation

A set of gentle practices and clinical mobilisation techniques which focus on helping patients attain pain-free joint motion and decreasing pain and stiffness.

Theraputic Taping

Therapeutic taping to provide additional support and extend the benefits of manual therapy administered within the clinical setting.

Soft Tissue Treatment

Manipulation of the soft tissues of the body i.e. muscles, connective tissue/fascia, tendons, ligaments and joints.

Electrotherapy

The use of physical energy (like heat, sound waves and electrical current) for the relaxation of muscles.

Hand Therapy

Using techniques of occupational therapy and physiotherapy to help patients regain full use of their hand and extremities.

Acupuncture

A treatment derived from ancient Chinese medicine. Fine needles are inserted at certain sites in the body for therapeutic or preventative purposes.
